The Medical Spa at PRO Medical is proud to be the first clinic in the greater Seattle-Bellevue metropolitan areas to offer, diVa™ by Sciton®, ground-breaking technology for non-surgical laser vaginal therapy and tightening.

  • Quick, non-surgical treatment for vaginal laxity, incontinence, dryness and other common concerns
  • Restores feminine confidence and quality of life with life changing outcomes

diVa™ laser vaginal therapy is a quick, comfortable, no downtime solution to a woman’s most intimate challenges. Just like every other part of the body, the vagina changes with age, but additional decline in vaginal health may be caused by two major events in a woman’s life:

  • Childbirth stretches the vaginal canal and surrounding tissue. This stretching damages the vaginal walls and weakens the pelvic floor. These tissues may not return to the same state as before childbirth and can result in varying degrees of urinary stress incontinence – the involuntary leakage of urine that occurs with sneezing, coughing, exercising, or other physical activity
  • Menopause and other events such as a hysterectomy and chemotherapy, may lead to reduced estrogen levels in the body, resulting in the thinning and drying of the vaginal walls and painful intercourse

Increased tightness

Just as cosmetic procedures have been used for decades to improve facial skin and restore its youthfulness, non-surgical vaginal tightening with diVa® improves the youthful vitality of vaginal tissue. diVa™ utilizes the world’s first and only revolutionary Hybrid Fractional Laser (HFL) technology to resurface the layers of the vaginal wall, replacing it with brand new, healthy tissue.

Improved lubrication

Increased layers of glycogen filled cells and blood supply provide increased lubrication, decreased pain with intercourse, and increased sensitivity*. Deeper treatment results in strengthening of the pelvic floor and improvement in symptoms of urinary stress incontinence*. Every woman is unique and we customize treatments according to age, symptoms and desired results.

Women with mild to moderate urinary incontinence and those who are experiencing menopause may be interested in a resurfacing treatment to improve the quality of their vaginal tissue. It is also a great treatment option for women who are suffering from vaginal dryness causing painful intercourse.

How long does a procedure take?

diVa’s ergonomic design allows for comfortable, fast and easy treatments. Each procedure takes 3 to 5 minutes to treat the full length of a vaginal canal.

How many treatments are recommended?

For optimum improvement, we recommend three treatments spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, followed by one treatment every 12 months for maintenance.

What do patients experience during the treatment?

diVa™ laser vaginal therapy is fast with minimal discomfort, described as a “3 out of 10”. Topical anesthetic is applied to increase your comfort.

What do patients experience in the next 48 hours after treatment?

You may return to your daily routine with minimal to no discharge, spotting, or discomfort; however, you should avoid anything inserted into the vagina for up to 48 hours.

  1. diVa™ treatments are completed in only 3 – 5 minutes and personalized to the patient’s biggest concerns and needs. No other vaginal laser system on the market can do this.
  2. Each diVa™ treatment utilizes a high quality strengthened quartz dilator which is disposed of after each use. The laser hand piece is placed within the applicator and never touches the patient. This assures the highest level of hygiene with no risk of cross contamination.
  3. diVa™ utilizes high precision automation of laser delivery which removes the potential for operator error and the creation of “hot spots” that can occur with systems utilizing manual maneuvering of the hand piece.
  4. diVa™ treatments are comfortable. It is the only system to utilize technology with dual wavelengths, allowing for highly effective, customizable treatment associated with little pain, negligible complication rates, faster tissue healing and return to normal sexual activity*.

Is it safe?
