Rachel Weissman, LAc

Licensed acupuncturist, Rachel Weissman, grew up on the Eastside in a family of doctors, nurses and dentists. A lifelong interest in both the arts and the sciences led her to The University of Pennsylvania School of Engineering, where she graduated with degrees in computer science, mathematics, design and Japanese. After working with Apple Computer for several years, Rachel’s interests redirected toward medicine.

Rachel trained at both Bastyr University and Tri State College of Acupuncture in New York City. She subsequently received the title of Diplomate of Acupuncture from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. After more than 10 years practicing acupuncture, Rachel continues to be in awe of how powerful this medicine is – and how beautifully acupuncture and East Asian Medicine integrates with Western medical care.
