Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is elegantly simple. You breathe 100 percent oxygen in an enclosed, see-through chamber which is pressurized according to the condition being treated. Pressurization shrinks the size of the oxygen molecules, enabling the 100 percent oxygen to reach areas deeper in the body via your plasma, cerebral spinal fluid, synovial fluid, and lymph fluid. This hyperoxygenation of the body’s cells and tissues have several key effects, some immediate and others from longer-term use.

Pre/Post-Surgery: HBOT will significantly reduce swelling by delivering oxygen to the affected areas to accelerate the healing process. The healing wounds and fractures are also positively impacted by HBOT.

Concussions: Since the brain is encased in the skull, swelling in the brain increases pressure in the affected area. The increased pressure results in reduced or complete stoppage of blood flow, which limits the primary function of the brain and cells not getting oxygen can die. Delivering oxygen to the injured areas reduces swelling, improves blood flow, and stimulates cell growth to help the injury heal faster.
