VO2 MAX TESTING
Your VO2 max is the maximum amount of oxygen your body can process to produce energy during intense exercise. The more oxygen you can use during high level exercise, the more energy a person can produce. Generally considered the best measurement of cardiovascular fitness and aerobic endurance, VO2 Max Testing is often used as a benchmark assessment for endurance athletes, including distance runners, cross country skiers, rowers, triathletes and cyclists.
For a V02 max test, you’ll wear a mask that measures your maximum oxygen consumption while you’re running on a treadmill. In addition to calculating how much oxygen your body can use during high-level exercise, this test will show your aerobic threshold, anaerobic threshold and maximum heart rate, and can be used to help improve your fitness.

DEXA SCAN | DUAL-ENERGY X-RAY ABSORPTIOMETRY
DEXA is the gold standard used for both body composition testing and bone density scans. This unique X-ray system can provide a detailed snapshot of your body composition, revealing exactly how your body breaks down into fat, bone and lean muscle mass tissue. DEXA scans are also commonly used to diagnose osteoporosis. A small dose of ionizing radiation is used to create pictures inside the body, enabling the measurement of any bone loss.
DEXA IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED IF YOU:
BODY COMPOSITION OR BONE DENSITY SCAN: Member $125 | Non-Member $150
BODY COMPOSITION AND BONE DENSITY SCAN: Member $200 | Non-Member $225
BODY COMPOSITION ANALYSIS
Body composition analysis is a non-invasive test that calculates your body fat percentage. PRO Club uses SECA bioelectrical impedance, which measures the rate at which a small electrical current passes through your body. Body fat will cause greater resistance than fat-free mass (bone, water, muscle, organs and tissue). For this test, a graph is used to determine if you are in optimal range for lean mass and fat mass based on your age and gender. SECA also measures hydration status.

RESTING METABOLIC RATE
Knowing your personal Resting Metabolic Rate is a key to successfully losing or maintaining your weight, as it represents the number of calories your body needs to maintain basic body systems at rest. With the Cosmed Hood indirect calorimetry test and a session with a PRO Club registered dietitian, you’ll receive the most accurate and individualized information to achieve success.
