Following in his father's footsteps, Azam has developed many successful players including Shabana Khan, Latasha Khan, and Kristen Lange, all who have gone to win the highest honors in their division, the Women's National titles and the Junior National title respectively. Azam consistently develops top Junior and Adult players year after year.

Azam is passionate about squash and enjoys sharing his knowledge through teaching and coaching players of all abilities from children to adults.
