VO2 Max Testing

The gold standard for assessing cardiovascular health and fitness, this test provides the information necessary to make smart changes to training programs, intensity levels, diet and rest to maximize results.

  • Determine the maximum amount of oxygen your body can use to produce energy

    The Lactate Threshold (LT)

    A key component of the VO2 max test - this test shows you the point at which lactic acid begins to build up in the blood and exercise becomes anaerobic. This threshold is important in defining accurate heart rate zones for improving endurance performance.

     

    This test can be performed on a bicycle or treadmill.
